Conference Leadership Team’s Proposal to Annual Conference

The Conference Leadership Team’s proposal to the Annual Conference for Five Essential Ministry Teams will be available in the next week in English, Spanish, and Korean at http://www.cal-pac.org/pages/detail/1729.

Sussanah Wesley Scholarship

Once again this year, at Annual Conference, there will be a $1, 000.00 Susannah Wesley Scholarship awarded to a graduating senior of the California-Pacific Conference. The monies will be for college tuition in the first year of studies, and will be paid directly to the school indicated by the recipient. The Conference Council on Youth Ministries has established this scholarship recognizing the importance of Higher Education and the importance of supporting young people who show promise in church service and leadership. 2010 Dodger Night-Save the Date

United Methodist Family Night at Dodger Stadium is Friday, August 20, at 7:10 p.m.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will play the Cincinnati Reds. The first pitch will be thrown by United Methodist clergyperson, the Rev. Kimball Coburn, Servant Evangelist. Tickets are $20. Look for more information soon or contact: Joyce Zirkle, Dodger Night Coordinator
